I was living alone in New York City as a young French immigrant, with no family support. In the chaos of the city, I longed for meaning but rejected the rigid religious structures I was raised with in France, which was the only thing I had known.
✨ Instead of churches, I found sanctuary in yoga, breath control, and the wisdom of ancient Gurus.
✨ Instead of organized religion, I embraced self-exploration and the discipline of a daily spiritual practice.
✨ Instead of feeling lost and empty inside, I felt anchored, inspired, and alive.
What started as curiosity became necessity. Spirituality kept me grounded, focused, and out of trouble in a world that could have easily swallowed me whole. This was my spiritual journey of transformation.
