Cultivating a Daily Spiritual Practice

The Search for Truth & Spirituality

Many of us feel drawn to spirituality, sensing that something deeper awaits beyond our daily routines. Perhaps you've tried to cultivate a daily spiritual practice before, only to find obstacles appearing at every turn.

You’re not alone.

When we set out to better ourselves, whether by changing a habit, improving our mindset, or embracing a spiritual path, challenges inevitably arise. It doesn’t matter what the goal is—resistance will show up.

Maybe you’ve noticed:

  • Every time you decide to sit in meditation, distractions suddenly multiply.

  • The intention to honor your inner self gets drowned in the noise of daily life.

  • Despite your best efforts, something always seems to pull you away from your spiritual practice.

Why does this happen?

Because we live in a time where spirituality isn’t widely embraced. In many ways, choosing this path means going against the current.

It requires:

✅ A firm belief in your purpose.
✅ Creativity to weave spirituality into your life.
✅ A deep desire to connect with truth, the Divine within—or both.

I know this journey well.

Many years ago, in my early 20s, I longed for truth but rejected the version of God I had learned about in Catholicism. That concept felt hollow, even cruel. I wanted nothing to do with it.

Instead, I sought answers elsewhere.

✨ New York City became my playground for spiritual exploration—a place filled with challenges, transformative experiences, and countless spiritual paths to choose from.

✨ Traditional churches held no appeal, but the teachings of yoga, breathwork, and the wisdom of ancient Gurus captivated me.

✨ This wasn’t just an interest; it was a need, as essential as breathing.

If you’ve ever felt that pull, a calling beyond logic, an undeniable urge to connect with something deeper, you understand.

The Power of Daily Practice

Life in NYC demanded an anchor. I saw many burn out within months because they never found a way to pause, reconnect, and realign. Yoga, breath control, and spiritual study became my refuge.

Fast forward 30 years, and my practice has evolved with me. What I needed in my 20s isn’t the same as what I need today. That’s the beauty of spirituality, it grows as you do.

Your Journey Starts Now

If you’re here, you’ve already heard the call. Maybe quietly, maybe loudly.

You don’t need to have all the answers. You just need to take one step forward.

As Lao Tzu said:

"The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step."

The key is to start.

Answering the Call: Your Spiritual Journey Begins

Spirituality isn’t something we choose—it chooses us.

It calls, often quietly at first, nudging us toward deeper meaning and self-discovery.

Maybe you've felt it too—the inner pull to explore something beyond the surface of daily life. I didn’t know I needed a spiritual path until my mid-20s when it found me.

That calling led me to embrace a daily practice, shifting my focus inward to a part of myself I had never truly known.

Looking back, I see how every twist and turn in my life was guiding me toward this path. That’s how spirit works. Whether we realize it or not, we are all on a spiritual journey.

For me, that journey unfolded through yoga, yogic disciplines, somatic practices, Vinyasa Flow, Hatha and Kundalini yoga, pranayama (breath control), and the wisdom of the 10 Sikh Gurus.

I devoted myself to daily spiritual practice for five years—fueled by passion and necessity.

Living alone in New York City as a young French woman immigrant, with no family support, spirituality became my anchor, my source of strength. It kept me grounded, focused, and out of trouble in a chaotic world.

Now, 35 years later, my spiritual practice isn’t just a routine—it’s a way of life. It’s the reason we are here: to discover who we are beyond the physical, to seek the true meaning of life.

And when spirit calls, it’s time to answer!

If you're here, I believe your call has already rung. Congratulations! Your life is about to shift in a profound way.

The path won’t always be easy, but as Theodore Roosevelt once said:

"Nothing worth having comes easy."

Your journey starts now. Let’s walk it together.
